There is nothing that is as exciting as continued positve feedback on the impact of our empowerment strategy, which took shape in schools, as from 2015. That was upon publication of the KICD approved Career Dynamics in the 21st Century. This week was the turn of empowerment in the vast Nakuru County. Since commencement of coronavirus pandemic, thus reduced conference activities, our empowerment strategy has revolved around existing customers. That is through finding out how they are making use of our game changing publications. However, we still interact with new customers here and there.

In one of the schools, it was quite exciting meeting the principal who had found great value from Career Dynamics in the 21st Century sometimes in 2018. Upon being ushered into her office, Principal VM almost instantly threw an unexpected question. It’s nice to see you. Have you authored another book as yet?
Me: Yes indeed, that is why I have come. By the way, I have been here on two occasions, but never lucky to find you.
Principal VM: Sorry about that (as she extended her hand for the publication titled Living Beyond Survival; No More Tiptoeing in Life.
Me: You seem to be similar to those who influenced me to writing this second book.
Principal VM: Why say that?
Me: Readers were constantly asking me about the next series for reasons that I could not comprehend.
Principal VM: You could be right because as a counseling psychology expert, I achieved great value from the first book, especially with regard to how we should all maximize our performance and equally benefit from the same.
Me: True and that leads them to understand how to become high fliers, a situation that needs to be sustainable.
Principal VM : I agree with you totally.
Me: That sustainability of high flying is what made me write the second book, so that I can empower readers with the right skills.
Principal VM: In that case, can I have my own personal copy of the same. Further, though we have enough copies of the first publication, I also need another copy of the same, but this time, for someone else.
Me: Who is this you are empowering?
Principal VM: Just for information, we have a career talk for the form 2 class scheduled for next week but one.
Me: Wow: Could I be lucky for the engagement?
Principal VM: Pole Sana. We had already enganged a career coach (mentioning the name). However, I will be happy to ensure that this Career Coach uses your content not only in our school, but also others, going forward.
Me: Doesn’t the careers coach have her own tools?
Principal VM: Even if she does, yours are the most relevant to the education system, in my view.
Me: Wow! No wonder, many prominent motivational speakers acquire our publications, especially during various KESSHA conferences.
Principal VM: By the way, why are are your empowerment ideas so articulate and holistic compared to those of other experts?
Me: I am a practical oriented person. I initially made the wrong choice of becoming an accountant as is well documented in my profile. When I lost passion in that career, I re-joined school for re-empowerment.
Principal VM: What exactly was your area of study?
Me: I pursued university education through an American oriented educational system. Though my specialization was Management Science eventually, the courses undertaken were numerous and rich with knowledge. One of my greatest influences is a course on philosophy.
Principal VM: What is it about?
Me: Simply put, philosophy is about the search and disemination of knowledge for the improvement of the welfare of humanity.
Principal VM: Really? No wonder, your approach in empowerment is so unique and effective. Next time, we are in need, we will have no choice but to engage you.
Me: You are most welcome.

Principal VM’s perspectives could no doubt easily confirm the inspiration below.
.,….”We wish to commend your endeavors of improving education standards in the country,”…wrote the KNEC CEO and former KICD Research Director, on15th Jan 2019, upon request for performance statistics of the schools we had empowered in 2018. Continued engagement for students or teachers seminars still WELCOME!
